Remembering to Keep Mental Health in the discussion (ReMIND-U) Wellness and Outreach is a 501(c)3 dedicated to providing awareness, education and accessibility to mental wellness information and resources. Our overarching goal is to extinguish the stigma associated with mental health and mental health care, by providing a transformative and culturally responsive approach to meeting the mental health needs of the community.

ReMIND-U Wellness and Outreach has a mission to cultivate evidence-based mental health services (e.g. workshops, panel discussion, group therapy, psycho education, etc.) where individuals are educated and equipped with knowledge, skills and resources to enhance overall well-being. In an effort to reduce mental health disparities, emphasis is placed on outreach services to meet the mental health needs of Black and Indigenous People of Color (BIPOC) and other underrepresented communities.

“We envision a world where mental health maintains a positive connotation and members of underrepresented groups are equipped with the necessary skills and resources to mentally, physically and emotionally thrive.”
